District Specialist I
The Osage County Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking a
full-time temporary Program Specialist I to serve Osage, Cole, Maries and Gasconade counties. This position is funded approximately until September 2019, and may be extended at that time. The candidate must be able to work in any weather conditions and cross rough or uneven terrain. Tasks include, layout, design and stake out of soil conservation practices, basic surveying and assisting with everyday office functions. Candidate must posess above average communication skills and willingness to work with the public and other governmental agencies. Basic farming background and knowledge and excellent computer skills is preferred. Must have a high school diploma, valid drivers license and pass a security background check. Benefits include vacation, health insurance and retirement. Starting wage will be $14.42 per hour.
